Comments about Plymouth Yarn Grande Hand Dyed 100% Baby Alpaca Yarn - Plumtree #2:
Using this yarn in a shrug--works up so quickly and the color patterns are a joy to see unfold. Had one knot in yarn that I was able to hide. Yarn is so soft and seems to drape nicely.
Very prompt delivery and arrived in good condition. Price was the lowest I could find. If they had free shipping on all items, it would be perfect. Have recommended this site to a friend!

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Grande Hand Dyed 100% Baby Alpaca Yarn - Plumtree #2:
I was not at all impressed with this yarn. I ordered three and they were marked with the same dye lot number. One of the three was completely different...much more green and much less of the wine color. Ruined my scarf because it's obvious where one ends and the other begins. Also ran into a couple of mended(?) spots in the yarn where it apparently broke while spinning. I'm not sure they will hold up to use as they look like they may pull apart or break.
Comments about Plymouth Yarn Grande Hand Dyed 100% Baby Alpaca Yarn - Plumtree #2:
This yarn is a wonderful bulky weight, perfect for hats, scarves and shawls! Made from 100% baby alpaca, this yarn is buttery soft and hand-dyed in the most amazing shades of plum and green, appropriately named plum tree. It doesn't snag or twist or come unraveled. I originally purchased six skeins, then decided to make something different. When I went to purchase another six skeins, they were out of the original dye lot. I took a chance anyway, and I'm so glad I did! Despite being hand-dyed, the colors were a great match from the two different dye lots! I can't think of one negative thing to say. I love this yarn and feel it's more than worth the price!
