I had never purchased from Alpaca Direct, nor had I ever used this product before. I found both to be excellent!! I'm making the NY hat and scarf for my grandson and I know he's gonna' love them both. I loved working with Plymouth Suri Merino, it's so soft and doesn't feel scratchy against you skin. It knits up beautifully.
The delivery was prompt and the product arrived in good condition, packaged very well.

I'm using this yarn to make a scarf--it's wonderfully soft, richly colored, and pretty easy to work with for a relative beginner. I'm leaving off one star because I haven't yet tried to wash it, so I can't say how well it holds up in that regard. Also, it can be a little splitty--not sure if that's the right term--but that's easy enough to overcome if you're careful.

The Plymouth suri merino that I purchased is knitting up beautifully. I love the texture, color and softness. The budget price makes it a no brainer to buy more! Off to choose more colors now!

This is a beautiful, soft yarn. I used it with a variegated to make a knit cap. The cap is very soft and will be warm this winter. I highly recommend this yarn.
