Comments about Plymouth Yarn Alpaca Brush Yarn - Black #500:

I used this yarn on the first Alpaca scarf I made for my son, using #7 needles & creating stripes with the verigated grey brushed baby alpaca. Not usually one to wear scarves, he LOVED it & wears it every day. It keeps his head & neck warm at those cold bus stops to work & back. It made a really handsome, very warm scarf. It made me feel good that he received so many compliments. He said it was a nice as the expensive scarves other men were wearing & just as soft as the cashmere. I also used it on #11 needles to make 3 other soft, fluffier scarves. Everyone loves, them! Now both of my sisters want one.

I use this to line my wool mittens. The lining is soft, warm and totally irresistible. It mats a little with use, becoming warmer and virtually weatherproof.
