I am only coming back to knitting after many years of illness. This yarn is so beautifully soft, I keep rubbing a ball of it against my face for the sheer luxury of it.

I have not had a chance to start my project yet, but it is going to go into a "Prayer Shawl" for someone I love more than my own mother and who has been very sick for years and is soon going to die.

I want to wrap her into each prayer I say with every three stitches so that when she wraps herself in it, God himself will hear my prayers again and wrap her in His own love and comfort.
