I was a bit disappointed in the weight of this yarn since I had read that it was worsted weight, which it wasn't. However, I finally realized that it was probably on the light side of that. Regardless, I knit a helmetliner for the troops with it and used a double strand. It's such amazing yarn, being my favorite alpaca -- works up beautifully and is oh so soft.
