I am an avid sock knitter and have fallen in love with this yarn. It is the softest of wool yarns and knits into a smooth fabric using a size 1 or 2 needle. The yardage is generous -- I like to make the "legs" on my socks a bit longer than called for in most patterns and one skein is more than enough to complete a pair of socks. The colors are exceptional, both in their vibrancy and color range.
