I have knitted extensively with this yarn, and I keep coming back for more of it! So many lush colors, and very soft and lofty, with a light halo after washing, The yarn is even prettier after washing, like it blooms. I will continue knitting with this yarn indefinately, it is a great substitute for many other yarns and it works well with just about any yarn calling for this gage.

I find this to be a good standard yarn, great for lots of projects. It is quite thick and weighty, but used for appropriate projects such as fisherman's type sweaters, a felted poncho, heavy cozy and warm oversized long sweaters, coats and jackets (particularly with some degree of felting), hats, gloves. The yarn has a great bloom upon wahing, which leaves a lovely and soft halo, and it sort of heathers the colors ever so slightly adding more dimension to the colors, it is easy to felt together joins, so as to avoid weaving in at the end. As it is single ply, avoid too much frogging as it will begin to fray, but if so--just rub it back together between your palms and voila--as good as new. Great yarn, I keep getting more colors.
