Cascade 220 is a workhorse yarn. Because of it's good yardage, varied colorways, even dying, and low price, it's an excellent yarn for just about every project and is good for both experienced knitters and novices alike.
The wool fiber is soft for what it is and not scratchy like some other brands. It's also incredibly warm and takes felting with ease.
All Cascade 220 comes in hanks and requires either hand winding or the use of a crank/ball winder which can, in my opinion, be listed as a negative, but it's a minor one.
This particular shade is a gorgeous bright blue that I plan on making into a pair of mittens.
