The "Heather" color series combine well with each other. I discovered alpaca a year ago while looking for a specific color yarn and love it. It is not as scratchy as regular wool and is a joy to work with. It's a good value for an all-natural fiber. I use it for scarves, slippers, and afghans.

My sister, who is a ridiculously prolific knitter and crocheter, and owns a yarn store, taught me to never buy cheap yarn. This yarn is totally reasonable in price, but not cheap in quality. I especially like that the colors are so beautifully represented on the website so that it's easy to choose and easy to see if they go together. I'm making a queen-sized blanket for my son and he loves the color combination I chose.
