I knit helmet liners for the troops in isolated places. I wish the wool would be already put in balls ready to use. I wish they would have discounts for knitting for our Troops in harms way. We have been knitting helmet liners for many years. Black is the preferred color for Marines. This wool is good for the price but Marino wool would be softer but it is too expensive.

I have used Cascade 220 Wool in knitting handbags & hats that are felted.The color stays the same in wetting/felting. I knit double stranded for felting and it is so fast and easy running through your fingers. I love the color palette for designing with Cascade. I am working on an African Design handbag in the Intaris design with 20 different colors. I can always count on the 220 Cascade to have the colors of Wool I need for all projects...Thanks...
