I made two toddler hats for a friend's nephew, one knit with a single strand and one held double. It was easy to work with both ways. It didn't split or pill while using it, it was easy on the hands, and it knits up beautifully in any number of textures and stiches. The only thing I would change would be to make it machine washable. I know that there is machine washable cascade 220, but it wasn't in the color I needed. Great yarn, will definitely buy again, probably many times over.
