I used this and the fire engine red to make socks with red stars for my boyfriend. The yarn is wonderful to wear as socks. We machine wash it in cold water and dry it flat. I have skeins and skeins of Cascade fixation as it makes really nice socks.
Since socks is all I ever knit, I have no idea of other uses I could recommend
