I bought this yarn to make socks that were a little thicker and more sturdy. I bought three skeins because my pattern said it would need that much yardage. I was so pleased to discover that not only does this yarn make professional-quality socks, but I actually had enough yarn to make three pairs of socks rather than the two that I thought I would get out of it. Excellent yarn.
