I really like the elastic in this product. The stretch makes it good for things that must fit specifically (ie: socks).

This yarn is so nice to knit up and wear! The only thing I found wrong was it had about 3 knots in one skein. Am totally planning to buy plenty more and from Alpaca Direct. Best price in town.

Bought this for a hat and socks for my newborn son. This was perfect, very stretchy. It will help to grow with him. Super soft cotton yarn!!! This is the first cotton I have knit with that did not hurt my hands. It is a little hard to keep your gauge the same because of the stretchiness but it is worth it.

Makes nice stretchy socks. I use size 3 circulars and the fabric is cushy comfortable to walk on. I can knit a pair of low footie socks out of one skein and I wear size 7 narrow shoes. Lots of nice contrasting colors to use for heels and cuffs and toes, too.

Only drawback? The yarn is not machine washable. No biggie. I handwash almost all my handknit socks so they last longer.
