I hand knit, and felt different items, and after trying several other 100% wool yarns, Cascade 220 is the best all around, felts beautifully!

I love knitting with Cascade! The texture and color are even, it doesn't split and the cost is very reasonable. If you enjoy making felted items, it felts well too.

This knitting wool is great for anything that you would like...I just love it. Have made four different types of projects with it from gloves & hats to afhagans. It has a wonderful elasticity that is very supportive for any project...even when I had to rip out! Can't not say enough good things about it!

I teach knitting classes and I recommend Cascade 220 to all my students. It comes in a stunning array of colors. It wears well, it's soft and easy to knit with and it's a great value.
I also just finished a sweater for my husband and it was knit primarily with Cascade 220. It produced wonderful, even stitches and a very soft fabric. Incidentally, I love to knit it on US 6's. Terrific, basic wool with a wonderful balance of softness and durability.
