They are slightly larger than most other brands so if your feet are narrow or borderline on sizing, you may want the smaller size. They are soft, warmer than regular socks and comfortable. I like them enough that I do plan on ordering more.

I have to admit that, although these are my first choice on the occasional winter hike or overnight, they're more often on my feet in the evenings; allowing me to keep the thermostat low and lounge around without looking like a frump. A warm, soft, agreeably bulky knit and beatiful color and style - they feel great and keep me warm at the campsite, on the trail, and on my couch!

I purchased product for myself to keep me warm during daily walks. I am extremely happy with the product, I live in the Northeast, we have been experiencing very cold weather, my feet and legs have stayed toasty warm with this product.

i have a greenhouse/nursery business with my sisters and parents and always buy my work boots (bogs and wellies) with some wiggle room to be able to fit a thick sock. These fit the bill but i will order a small next time in this style(just don't hug my foot like the other styles do in medium). I own almost all the various dahlgren sock styles and don't wear anything else from oct.- april and there is a reason - i even wear thin styles with heels to keep my toes warm!
