I have always had cold feet, and it has been hard to find warm socks that don't itch. These are wonderful. I can still wear them with sneakers or with my regular size casual shoes and they keep my feet warm on all but the coldest days, when I switch to the expedition weight socks. They fit nicely, and the color schemes are very cute.

My old pairs of Dahlgrens were made with more merino and alpaca wools. This seemed to regulate foot temperatures better. Also, I find my feet sliding in my boots with the addition of more nylon in the socks. I hope the company returns to the old formula. They are still good socks, but could be better.

The only downside to these socks is that I can't wear them with my peep-toe 3" heel pumps! I literally wear these socks for every activity that requires casual footwear. Walking, hiking, working, or just hanging out. These socks just make my feet happy. Oh - I forgot, they don't go too well with my summer flip-flops either.
