a present for my daughter...they were large for her but she wouldn't give them back so I could get a smaller size,She said she loves to take a shower and put them on straight from the dryer!She also loves that they come up to her knees.

The thing one must be wary of is shrinkage in alpaca socks. This didn't happen with these socks!

I work outside. This is the first sock that I have found that keep my feet warm all day. I would recommend these socks to anyone who get cold feet while working outdoors. It is great to have warm feet for the first time.

My feet get cold easily, but I was able to wear these for a 1 hour walk in 20F weather with uninsulated walking shoes. I'm not a fast walker either. I wear raggwool, polartec 200 and 300 socks: these are warmer, less bulky, breathe better, and better fit than any other cold weather sock I've tried. Merino wool socks just don't cut it for me. These work best.
