Comments about Alpaca Direct Glacial Green Merino/Silk:

I bought this to spin in the Tour de Fleece--trying for fine laceweight singles to ply for a lace scarf or shawl. The combed top is soft and silky but there are nubby bits of the white silk that I decided to pick out, due to the weight I was spinning. I don't know how it plies up yet to comment on how it knits. But I'd buy it again for spinning.

The actual color of this ia a wonderful bright limey green with a sheen from the silk. On my computer screen it appears more muted than it actually is in person. This does shed some silk but nonetheless spins up beautifully.
