The was my first time working with this stuff and I'd have to say it wasn't so bad. I'm really new to spinning with a drop spindle and this was my first project. It's not super soft like the merino, but for practice it's a great value. The only down side is that the roving I received was a lot darker than the picture. Almost a deep wine color. But it's still pretty.
