I gave each of my 3 step granddaughters, ages 4-16, a teddy bear for Christmas. Two of them received small bears that were a beautiful snow white, a great color for Chistmas. The teenager received a tan bear. My feeling is no one is too old for a teddy bear, especially these soft alpaca bears! Each of the girls received the bear through the mail along with the story of how the teddy bear got its name from one of our former presidents of the United States, Teddy Roosevelt.

I gave this little bear as a gift to a yet to be born granddaughter. I hated to part with it as it was totally adorable. I believe I'll get one for myself.

This was a great value for the quality and material (real alpaca!) from which it is made. It is realistic in appearance & color, which is important to me in getting or giving stuffed animals, yet unique because it's made from alpaca fiber so there's the educational aspect and the ultra-softness aspect that you won't find in just any teddy bear. The only downside is you cannot throw it in the washing machine like other stuffed animals, but it's such a special kind of bear, you wouldn't treat it like any stuffed animal either, so there you have it! The customer service was superb as well and that's hard to find these days (or in years past for that matter). [...] I've given alpaca teddy bears as gifts before and they are ALWAYS well-received --it's something so unique that people don't have and once they do, they really treasure it.
