This DVD helped me knit my first pair of sock. Sometimes when I paused and then "played", I went back to the index or menu. This took a little extra time.

I bought the DVD for my mother who always knits socks. I thought it would let her knit socks twice as fast as she does now. And now she really does. Maybe she might even make me a pair.

I absolutely love the Nenah Gelati series! These are one of the few DVDs available for continental style knitters and less expensive too. She supplies neat little tricks that make sense that get you past hurdles.

The video is decent, but when the author makes errors (a good thing!!!), she needs to take the time to show how she is fixing the error (a litte better). Also, the written directions are terrible. Even though I bought the DVD, complete, correct, and pictured written directions are still necessary. You can't take a DVD with you everywhere. A "revision" is in order (along with new nail polish for Nenah Galati). You'll understand this comment if you view the video!

The DVD was too difficult for a beginner to follow.
I should have waited to gain more experience knitting simple items. I have joined a knitting class and have done much better in that type of setting. I will try to sell the DVD to one of the ladies in the class.
