If you're into 1920's and 30's movies, you'll love the projects in this book. Nostaligic, classic designs with a focus on function. Well staged photos of finished items supplement the instructions. You won't find a lot of fluff: no stories about people you don't know and sheep in far-away pastures. What you do get: many functional projects featuring natural fibers; accurate guage/needle recommendations to help with fiber substitutions; and clear instructions. I'm a fairly new knitter, and I'm almost done with the cover hat. Can't wait to do the next project. Great book! It won't collect any dust!
