great for beginners, loved the amount of roving and very soft and easy to handle. The spindle it self was a little rough could have been sanded better. but over all at the sale price very nice.
Delivery was fast as always great service.

I wanted to learn how to spin so I could make my own yarn and knowing nothing about the subject, figured it'd be easier to learn this way. The set is complete, the instructions are easy to understand and even easier to follow, in less than an hour, I was spinning like I'd been doing it for months! I've not found anything wrong with anything included in the set at all and continue to practice my spinning as often as I can. I am a bit further along now and though I've not yet mastered the full arm move (with longer amount of yarn) I am confident that in time I will be a pro at this. Thank you so much for offering such a wonderful product. I can't wait to master spinning! Thanks again!

I agree with the others that the instructions could be clearer. The spindle is medium weight and the fibers were forgiving, both making it easier for the beginner to use. The spindle could be improved by adding a notch. I found instructions and videos on the internet much more helpful by searching for "drop spindle."

While the instructions are unclear about how to spin the best yarn it is not so hard to eventually grasp it. The material though is very nice and is a little forgiving on new spinners.
