The needles themselves are brilliant! Light weight, relatively sharp tips, and good cable attachments make them easy to use and my go-to needles now. I've heard people have problems with the cables coming unscrewed but I've not had this. My only criticism is the case - If I pick up the case just wrong all the needles fall out! Maybe they need to make tighter sleeves, or some kind of cap to them. It makes the case not as portable as I'd like, but I still highly recommend the needles (just keep the case at home!)

Nice set, although the size of the needle takes getting used to. Also, I find I have to check the connection (could be because I have arthritis so am unable to it tighten enough). Overall I like the set and like the wide range of sized needles.

Love, love, love my Hiyas! I am a new knitter and tried numerous circular and straight needles. I knitted my first sock on Addi Lace turbos that my friend let me borrow and liked them, but found the points too sharp and the cord still too stiff. I ordered the Hiyas and knitted the second sock. The supple cord that swivels is priceless and the needles are like butter! My movements are much more smooth and my fabric is noticeably more uniform and, well, pretty!

I haven't gotten to use this very much, but first the case it comes in awesome, big enough you won't lose it, but small enough to easily fit in the knitting bag. It also has an extra zippered pocket that is great for storing small notions. To top it off it's a beautiful case.
The cables are incredibly flexible, and the joins are so smooth that I don't even notice them. Absolutely no issues so far with the connectors unscrewing.
Only bad thing is that the needles themselves are only 4" needles, so they take a little bit to get used to.

These needles work great. The swivel cord feature eliminates the pesky unscrewing that happens in some other sets. No tools are necessary and they start with a US2 which is a big plus for me.
