These long cords are great for knitting afghans in one piece. I use my Denise Interchangeables for all my knitting projects now, even patterns that don't require circulars. The needles are smooth but not too slick, so there's no drag, yet stitches don't accidentally fall off. The join is smooth too, so the yarn doesn't hang up. It's super easy to attach needles to cords without a tool, and they never accidentally disconnect. I even take these on long plane flights and I never have trouble with security screening.

I started kitting and the cable seperated from the needle several times. I went crazy but got my work back on the cable. I now am worried everytime I se them that it will happen again. YIKES.

It was indespensible in making a star-shaped afgan. I was able to complete it without a lot of bunching and the cords never came apart during knitting.
