I have only used these a few times so far. I find the locking system easy to use (make sure to hold onto the black part). Being use to bamboo, the needles seemed a little slippery but I am getting use to it. It is nice they are a bit flexible. The cords seem a little stiff but maybe after more use they will become more flexible. It's nice to not have to worry about going out to buy the right size needle for every new project.

I've never owned a pair of interchangeable needles before, but these seem a little hard to handle. The needle ends can be difficult to attach to the cord, and one of the end buttons doesn't lock into place at all. Beyond that though, they're very comfortable to work with and convenient to carry.

To start a new project, I needed four new needles that would cost me about [$]. I was tired of this scenario! Alpaca Direct had a great price on their Denise set (stores are charging much more for the "other" brand) so I ordered the Denise set and started knitting a sweater. Knitting is very smooth, comfortable, and fast. With this set, you can knit in a circle, or knit as if you were using straight needles. You can connect multiple cables together for large projects, like afghans -- lots of flexibility!The case is slightly larger than a paperback book, so you can carry all of your needles for any project in your purse. It is easy to connect the cables, and they stay connected. Disconnecting the cables requires a metal paper clip for leverage -- insert the wire through a hole in the cable and twist. I'm okay with this, but the Denise product would be more professional if they provided their own tool with the set.
The product arrived in two days in perfect condition. I did use customer service to ask about a discount coupon and they were very courteous and helpful.

I love the convenience of the needles and cords all in one neat case. I always hated knitting on circular needles. These needles quickly changed my mind. It was so easy to change the needle size as well as the cord length. Fabulous product!
